Church membership

We believe that church membership is for persons who have accepted God’s offer of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.  In order to become a member of a Mennonite congregation, a person usually needs to attend a Mennonite Church to learn more about our teachings, to have a time of instruction with the ministerial team, and then become part of the church.  If distance makes regular attendance difficult, many congregations are willing to work out associate member or affiliate member status.
