Calvinism and Arminianism
Calvinism refers to the doctrine taught by John Calvin, a reformer who emphasized that salvation is through grace alone. Arminianism, in contrast, refers to the idea that we have free choices. Acceptance of salvation is the choice of a person. Mennonites tend to agree with the Arminian view.
