Holy Spirit
The Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective states:
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the eternal Spirit of God, who dwelled in Christ Jesus, who empowers the church, who is the source of our life in Christ, and who is poured out on those who believe as the guarantee of our redemption and of the redemption of creation. We believe that the anointing of the Spirit is offered to all people. As we walk by the Spirit, the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We recognize that there are various gifts of the Spirit but we do not place emphasis or believe that one gift is more important than another.
