Mennonite Church USA
In the latter part of the 20th century many people thought it made sense for the denominations known as the General Conference Mennonite Church and The Mennonite Church to cooperate and join together. By 1983, representatives of both groups voted to officially explore joining together, and in the year 2002, the two denominations formally joined and realigned as Mennonite Church USA, and in Canada, as Mennonite Church Canada.
